Spring Green Event

UPDATE:  In spite of the wet weather for Spring Green, Creative Enterprises still got out there and had a great time!  Check out some of the pictures of the action below taken by our board member Reid Laurens.  Special thanks to board members Gayle Hayes and Karl Heisman for their help with this event as well as Greenhouse Manager JoAnna Cox.  If you missed our awesome plants at Spring Green, don’t miss our plants during our Plant Sale throughout the month of April!

Creative Enterprises is happy to be a part of the upcoming New Lawrenceville Spring Green Festival at the Historic Lawrenceville Square on March 29th.  With plenty of vendors, a bed race, and a 5k hosted by Chick-fil-A this promises to be an exciting, fun-filled day for all!  The Creative booth will feature plants, art, and cards made by and benefiting individuals here at our program.  So mark your calendars and we will see you there!

Funding Received for Dream Quest Program

Creative Enterprises is excited to announce that thanks to generous grants from both Walton EMC and the Jackson EMC Foundation, we now have funding for our individuals to experience Dream Quest–a horseback riding program that’s just for people with disabilities!  Starting in April, groups of individuals along with one of our staff will attend riding lessons at the Dream Quest facility in Bethlehem, GA and also learn about caring for these amazing animals.  We are thrilled to be able to offer this experience and will post photos and success stories once the program is underway.  In the meantime, you can visit Dream Quest’s website to learn more!
