Creative Enterprises is a non-profit in Lawrenceville, GA dedicated to assisting adults with disabilities and others with barriers to employment in maximizing their potential. Visit our About CEI page to learn more.	Employment Services staff can help with all aspects of job readiness, placement, and continued support in the community.	Our Workshop provides a suitable work setting for people with various disabilities and barriers to employment, all working together to produce products and services for local businesses.	Our Community Integration and Personal Development programs feature a large selection of classes, activities, and community outings for the people we serve to pursue their interests and work to achieve personal goals.
Taught by professional artists, our Art Program allows the people we serve the opportunity to express themselves creatively. Their works have been featured in galleries and shows around the metro-Atlanta area, and are available for sale.	The Creative Enterprises Greenhouse serves both our programs and the community with its wonderful selection of plants and produce. Items are cultivated by people in our programs and are available for sale to the public.	A licensed Cat Shelter is located on-site, offering the people we serve the opportunity to work with cats and kittens that are available to the public for adoption.	Our newest addition is our Thrift Store which offers training experience for the people in our programs and great bargains for our customers.

Located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Creative Enterprises is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting adults with disabilities and others with barriers to employment in maximizing their potential.  We offer a variety of Programs & Services including Community Access and Prevocational services, Day Habilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation, and many more.  We also operate our own Greenhouse, a licensed Cat Shelter, and a Thrift Store, which are open to the public.  Check out the latest headlines below to learn what's going on at Creative. GT Econ Club Presents Creative Art Show on April 14, 2012

We are happy to announce that the GT Econ Club will be hosting a philanthropy event to benefit Creative Enterprises!  The Creative Art Show will feature exhibits of artwork made by individuals we serve in our Art Program and these works will also be available for sale.  Tickets are available here.  The show will be on Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 4pm to 6:30pm.  The show will be in the Bill Moore Student Success Center at 190 North Ave. NW in Atlanta.

Open House on November 30, 2011

Mark you calendars, because CEI will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, November 30, from 10am until 1pm. Refreshments will be served! We would like to invite everyone to visit us for a guided tour of our facility. See what we are all about- watch our clients at work, walk through our beautiful greenhouse and browse the selection at our thrift store as well as artwork and other crafts made by our clients. We will have lots of gifts for sale, including our very own greenhouse specialties. Don’t forget your wallet for these and other gifts! We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Folk Fest 2011: August 19-21

Works made by our artists will be on display at Folk Fest 2011 as part of the gallery exhibit for Mason Muhrer Fine Art. Folk Fest, now in its eighteenth year, is the largest and most important folk art show in the world with an annual attendance of over 12,000. The show is located at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross. Visitor information, including hours and admission cost can be found on the Folk Fest Visitor page. We are very proud of all of the talented artists in our Art Program who have the extraordinary opportunity to share their talent, creativity, and hard work with the world.

Donation Received from the Estate of Mr. Louis Arrants

Creative Enterprises recently received a donation of approximately $52,000 as a bequest from the estate of Mr. Louis Arrants, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 96. We are extremely grateful for Mr. Arrants' years of support for our organization and his belief in our mission of supporting individuals with disabilities and others with barriers to employment. The donation will be used to pay down a substantial portion of our line of credit, which we have relied on to help us through these tough economic times.

3rd Annual Ride for the Challenged

We would like to thank those who came out for the third year of the Ride for the Challenged.  Once again, everyone had a great time. Riders enjoyed a windy but sunny day on the open road for the poker run. Afterwards, riders joined with volunteers and other supporters for the festivities in our workshop. The event raised over $3,000 for our programs supporting adults with disabilities.

CARF Accreditation

We are happy to announce that our accrediting agency, CARF, recently awarded Creative Enterprises with a three-year accreditation renewal.  CARF is the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, an international agency that sets standards and expectations for our services.  The CARF survey team visited in October for an extensive review of all of our services.  The results detailed in the survey report are the best seen in our 30 year history, with 100% of all standards and expectations met in all of our service areas.
